Hailing from the suburbs of Detroit, I had already been dancing for quite a few years before joining Funk - but nothing prepared me for the wildness of the group and everything Funk soon brought out in me. Funk was without question the highlight of my college experience! I graduated from the M&T program with a BS in Economics (concentrations in Marketing & Management) & a BAS in Chemical Engineering. Following working in the vastly worlds of Wall St and in nightlife promotion, I am currently engaged in some pet projects and teaching (pole) dancing in NYC.

I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. Like many other funkers of my generation, my first exposure to performance and dance was Strictly Funk and I am so thankful to Shira for seeing whatever it is she saw in me that audition back in 2000. My fondest memories of funk include hanging off a rope during my first show, eating cake with Quoc and watching Gino Luci audition to Funk by lip syncing Britney Spears. I graduated with a BS in Economics and a concentration in Marketing and currently reside in New York.
